dc.description.abstract | The article proposes a method to investigate some of the essential characteristics of high speed rotating machinery. The underlying principle of power versus speed dependence of a rotating machine is defined by a second order differential equation with dependent and independent variables respectively as power and speed. The solution of such an equation together with the dynamic relation of flow of the medium would enable further to generate the essential characteristics specific power of the compressible medium of the turbo machine under consideration. | |
