Through an integrated strategy that combines technological, policy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives, this MBA project investigates sustainable waste management systems at Beypore Port, Kerala. Beypore, a regional port of considerable ecological and economic significance, has difficulties with trash disposal, treatment, and segregation, which results in operational inefficiencies and environmental deterioration. In comparison to international best practices like Singapore's zero-waste port policy and the Port of Rotterdam's circular economy model, the study highlights significant shortcomings in the port's current waste management procedures, such as poor infrastructure, lax regulatory enforcement, and little stakeholder collaboration.
