| dc.description.abstract | This study conducts a comprehensive comparative analysis of the financial strength of six major ports on India's East Coast—Chennai Port, Kamarajar Port, V.O. Chidambaranar (Tuticorin) Port, Visakhapatnam Port, Paradip Port, and Kolkata (Syama Prasad Mookerjee) Port—from the financial years 2019 to 2024. Given the strategic importance of these ports in India’s maritime trade and regional economic development, the study evaluates their financial and operational performance using a range of quantitative indicators. These include Current Liabilities, Total Assets, Investments, Operating Income, and Operating Expenditure. | |
